THE TRUTH IS FOSSIL FUELS ARE FRACKING FANTASTIC

I am unashamedly pro human. Energy in our lives is fundamental to freedom, escaping poverty, and to giving us more time to make this world better for everyone. Everyone needs more access to energy in our world today and since fossil fuels are doing most of the heavy lifting in this space I am pro fossil fuels. Plus oil and gas are are also used to make almost everything around us. Our modern day world would literally fall apart with out them. FOSSIL FUELS ARE FRACKING FANTASTIC

This is my oil and gas flag and I think Fossil Fuels Are Fracking Fantastic! Full disclosure, I have worked in the oil and gas industry for 15 plus years but when I first started I held the common belief that they were a necessary evil of modern life. I have come to discover they are not evil but a vast good for the energy and the materials of construction they provide to the world, a modern day miracle. I am always willing to replace them with something better when it is discovered but oil, gas, and coal have a lot more room to run to bless the human family.

DRILL, BABY, DRILL

This is my oil and gas flag. Every well we drill prepares us to have the energy and materials we need in the future. Energy to travel, gas to cook our food, asphalt for smooth roads, and for a hundred plus other things we either do with or make from oil and gas.

AMERICAN OIL AND GAS

Oil and gas were used throughout history but in the United States it was turned in to a miracle that has blessed the world. It started by accidently saving the whales from extinction, the first major application for oil was lighting oil that at the time was coming mostly from whales. The waste products from oil were discovered to have vast valuable applications to such an extent that today oil and gas touch almost all part of our lives. These is just other reasons that Fossil Fuels Are Fracking Fantastic, especially in the United States of America.

GLOBAL WICKEDNESS REPENT REPENT REPENT

Global Warming, Climate Change, or whatever it is called today does not scare me. I have seen the data, the forecasts that are extrapolated without enough data and the data that is excluded, and I am convinced that extra CO2 is not a danger and might even be a net positive. What does scare me is the potential for cruelty and selfishness that each of us might inflict upon our neighbors if we don’t let the better angles of our nature prevail in our lives. Daily repentance and reaching out to our neighbors with love will be a greater force for good in our lives and in the world than any amount of recycling, reusing, or reducing we could ever do. I am not suggesting we should be wasteful, just that we should keep our priorities straight, especially if our aim is to save the world.

NATURE ISN'T MOTHERING; IT'S MENACING!

Our planet is a wonderful and beautiful place. I first started to appreciate nature going on extended family backpacking trips as a boy; Swimming in cold mountain lakes and climbing mountain peaks to experience the magnificent views. These trips also gave me a deep appreciation for our modern world. Water you don’t have to hand filter or boil to safely drink. A heater to keep you from freezing at night. Plus, an abundance of food. We all looked forward to a burger and milk shake on the return trip home after days of eating backpacking food. Nature is beautiful but it is also dangerous and wild. Energy and knowledge have helped us tame nature where we live but this protection depends on a steady supply of energy, which mainly comes from fossil fuels. This design is my attempt to share these truths I discovered as a boy so that we all might become more grateful for the safety and abundance we enjoy in our modern world.

Truths To Live By Created by Robert McCauley

Who am I? Like the rest of you I am lots of things. A husband, father, son, grandson, follower of Jesus Christ, chemical engineer, a sinner, a saint, and a very curious seeker of truth. My sincere desire in this life is to do good in the world and if possible leave it better than how I found it. I believe in people and the great things we do together and could do together if we find the ways to unite in meaningful causes. I built this site and my designs to share ideas that I believe hold valuable truths. I will be wrong on some of them but I am not afraid to be wrong, I believe and try to practice the principle of trading up, truth for error, understanding for misunderstanding, and light for darkness.
